But let me ask you&#8230; When you think of any influence of yours, or popular artist, don\u2019t you immediately draw associations that instantly pop up in your mind?<\/p>\n<p>Their is an almost instant categorizing and understanding about their style, and their music.<\/p>\n<p>For songwriters and musicians the thought of being categorized is not one we welcome&#8230; At all&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>It seems to go against our nature.<\/p>\n<p>But the \u201c<strong>best way to attract a loyal following faster is to specialize<\/strong>,\u201d according Bob Baker.
